I'm Zia,
a designer by name, a creator by heart.
I began my career in software engineering, where I developed an appreciation for systems and structure that simplifies processes. But when I first learned Figma and spent a week of sleepless nights creating my first ever project for a university design competition, I quickly realized my passion wasn't just about building software — it was about designing experiences that make technology feel intuitive.
Today, my engineering background continues to shape how I design. It helps me communicate effectively with developers, understand technical tradeoffs, and create solutions that are not only user-centered, but also scalable and practical to build. I especially enjoy working on products where thoughtful systems and collaboration matter just as much as the final interface.
When I'm not designing, I'm making and selling digital art, climbing rocks, trying out different sports, and in general, having a great time. I always hope to leave every community a little more enjoyable than I found it. Whether it's starting a club, sharing hobbies, organizing workshops, or simply sparking good conversations, I love building communities that continue to grow long after the projects are over.
